INDIANAPOLIS - A child suffered minor injuries when a light fell during a fall festival in Beech Grove Wednesday evening.
The child was on the "Scrambler" ride during Beech Grove's fall festival around 7 p.m. when a light fell from in between the seats.
It scratched him on the nose on the way down. Police say the scene was chaotic while the light dangled from the fixture.
Police stopped the ride, and the Department of Homeland Security will inspect the ride, per protocol.
Emergency services checked him out on the scene. His mother signed a medical release and took him home.
