INDIANAPOLIS -- Two children were hurt in a hit-and-run crash near downtown Wednesday morning.

Police say the children were in a car that was hit near the intersection of New York Street and Bradley Avenue around 8:30 a.m.

Both are under age six. They were taken to Riley Hospital.

The driver was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Officers say they are looking for a Navy-colored SUV, possibly a Chevrolet Blazer.

This is the same intersection where a pregnant woman died last February.

Antoinette Johnson, 23, was a passenger in the front seat of a car when it hit a fire hydrant and flipped over.

She was ejected and killed.

Johnson was seven months pregnant with a baby girl.

Police arrested the driver of that car, Demarco Matthews, several days after the crash.
