INDIANAPOLIS -- A child was trapped Tuesday night by a multi-car crash on the far west side.
The collision occurred just after 9 p.m. at the intersection of Rockville and Bridgeport roads.
Wayne Township firefighters were able to extricate the child from the wreckage.

Officials said the child was transported to Riley Hospital for treatment.
The extent of other injuries from the crash wasn't immediately known.
