INDIANAPOLIS -- The Children's Museum of Indianapolis broke ground Thursday on its new, $35 million expansion.
The "Sports Legends Experience" will turn the northern portion of the museum's Meridian Street property into an outdoor activity zone featuring mini-golf, pedal car race tracks and track and family fitness loops.

Colts Quarterback Andrew Luck has been part of the planning process for the expansion.
