INDIANAPOLIS -- Indy Parks responded Tuesday after complaints were made about offensive graffiti on the Monon Trail in Broad Ripple.
Call 6 Investigates contacted the city about the graphic images and language on the trail near 67th Street, which includes a depiction of male genitalia.
Indy Parks Spokesperson Ronnetta Spalding says they received one other phone call, aside from the Call 6 Investigates inquiry, about the offensive graffiti.
Mayor's Action Center records show a report about graffiti in the same area of the Monon submitted Sunday however, it said the graffiti was not offensive.
Spalding said the city has covered up the graphic images and Wednesday will cover the entire section with gray paint.
