City to host two public input workshops on Castleton plan

INDIANAPOLIS — The City of Indianapolis will hold two public input sessions to discuss the revitalization of the Castleton area.

A release from the Department of Metropolitan Development said the sessions will be begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at The Elementary Gym at Heritage Christian High School, 6401 E. 75th St., and 7 p.m. Thursday, June 20 at The Hall at 91st Street Christian Church, 6049 E. 91st St..

The city is analyzing Castleton's retail and market conditions, traffic patterns, adjacent planning efforts, recreational opportunities, infrastructure needs and public opinions, according to the release.

The sessions will include a presentation about the study and its initial findings, along with workshop-style stations where residents can share ideas.
