CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Clinton County Sunday afternoon.
Deputies with the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office said Matthew Brady of Michigantown, Indiana was killed after he crossed over from the westbound lane into the eastbound lanes in the 5600 block of Michigantown Road shortly before 12:30 p.m.
Brady was driving a 2003 Chrysler van and hit a 2012 GMS pickup truck head-on. It is not currently known why Brady veered into the other lane.
The area where the crash occurred was wet at the time with a curve in the roadway, according to the Clinton County Sheriff's Office.
Medics pronounced Brady dead at the scene.
The road was closed for over 2 hours following the crash.
The condition of the second driver was not released by police, and toxicology results are pending.
