INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Colts will face challenging start to the 2019 season.
The Colts' quest to return to the playoffs will begin Sept. 8 at Los Angeles when they will face the Chargers at 27,000-seat Dignity Health Sports Park. They'll stay on the road in Week 2 for an AFC South game against Tennessee.
Indianapolis will come home in Week 3 to host the Falcons before the Oakland Raiders visit Lucas Oil Stadium on Sept. 22.
The season's first of three prime-time games will come Oct. 6 when the Colts travel to Kansas City for an 8:20 p.m. rematch of their 31-13 divisional round loss in the 2018 playoffs.
After a bye week on Oct. 13, the Colts will play four of their next five games at home beginning with Houston on Oct. 20 and Denver on Oct. 27. Following a trip to Pittsburgh in Week 9, Miami and Jacksonville will come to Indianapolis.
The Colts' will face a short week heading into their Thursday night game at Houston on Nov. 21.
After Tennessee comes to town on Dec. 1, Indianapolis will become familiar with the NFC South when it travels to Tampa Bay in Week 14, hosts New Orleans on Dec. 16 in a Monday Night Football matchup and heads to Carolina on Dec. 22.
The Colts will hope to avoid repeating last season's shutout performance at Jacksonville when they end the regular season against the Jaguars on Dec. 29.

Thursday, Aug. 8: at Buffalo, 7 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 17: vs. Cleveland, 4 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 24: vs. Chicago, 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 29: at Cincinnati, 7 p.m.
