INDIANAPOLIS – The Indianapolis Colts waived 17 players and placed three others on the injured reserve list Saturday afternoon.

With these adjustments, the team has reached the league-mandated 53-man roster.

Colts chose to keep three quarterbacks instead of two, including: Andrew Luck, Scott Tolzien, Stephen Morris.

Players who were waived include:

Sterling Bailey, defensive end

Trevor Bates, inside linebacker

Alden Darby, safety

Tay Glover-Wright, cornerback

Lee Hightower, safety

Stefan McClure, safety

MeKale McKay, wide receiver

Christopher Milton, cornerback

Kitt O’Brien, guard

Earl Okine, outside linebacker

Kelcy Quarles, defensive tackle

Adam Redmond, guard

Tevaun Smith, wide receiver

Mitchell Van Dyk, tackle

Jeremy Vujnovich, tackle

The team also released inside linebacker Nate Irving and running back Stevan Ridley.

The Colts placed cornerback Tevin Mitchel, outside linebacker Ron Thompson and guard Hugh Thornton on the injured reserve list.
