Community reflects on the lives of two Clinton County sisters killed in crash

CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. – Several community members gathered Tuesday evening to remember two Clinton County sisters who died after a vehicle crashed into their home last week.

On Wednesday night Haleigh and Callie Fullerton were home with their mother when a 17-year-old lost control of her vehicle and crashed into their house. The two sisters died as a result, and their mother was injured.

Friends of Haleigh said she will be missed.

“She was always that friend that when we would go out to eat, we would dare her to do little stupid, crazy stuff and we always knew she'd do it just for laughs,” said Megan Wall. “She'd always be dancing or singing or saying off the wall stuff to make everyone laugh and she was just great to be around."

The teen driver was arrested and has been preliminarily charged with criminal recklessness, although they are awaiting the Clinton County prosecutor's decision on further charges.
