INDIANAPOLIS -- After the terror attack in Nice, France, many Hoosiers are asking if something similar could happen here.
Former FBI agent Brad Garrett says yes – a terror attack could happen anywhere.
"Unfortunately, it would be a very easy thing to do," Garrett said.
Garrett, an expert in terrorism, now works as an ABC News contributor. He says preventing attacks like the one in France is a challenge for police.
"Police are going to have to get enterprising," Garrett said, noting that the suspected terrorist drove more than a mile before police finally killed him.
Garrett says it's hard to predict when attacks like Nice are going to happen. But, he says, if you see something, say something. Intelligence is the best defense against terror attacks across the globe and at home.
