INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis counseling center is offering free “couples check-ups” just in time for Valentine’s Day.
It’s estimated that people will spend more than $18 billion on their loved ones this year, but since you can’t put a price on happiness mental health experts recommend investing in your relationship.
The counseling center at Christian Theological Seminary is offering the check-ups free of charge to couples who are dating, in a long-term commitment or married.
The check-ups are 50 minutes each and designed to be a hassle-free way to take inventory of your relationship and improve communication and empathy.
Therapists will take walk-ins from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on February 13 and February 14, then by appointment through the end of the month.
Appointments can be scheduled by calling the counseling center at (317) 924-5205.
