INDIANAPOLIS -- Six people, including four children, were hospitalized following a crash Friday morning on Indianapolis' northeast side.
The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., near the intersection of 38th Street and Shadeland Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash -- a street sweeper and an SUV.
The driver of the street sweeper, the driver of the SUV and her four children were all taken to nearby hospitals. All are expected to be OK.
Nearby power poles fell down, so crews had to close the road while they made sure there wasn't any danger to the public.
