CRAWFORDSVILE, Ind. -- A Crawfordsville man is facing new charges following the death of his 6-month-old son.
Police arrested Steven Filley, 26, after his son, Connor, was airlifted to Riley Hospital for Children on June 7 in critical condition.
Officials with the Marion County Coroner's office say Connor died Sunday afternoon after being removed from life support.
Steven Filley was initially arrested on preliminary charges of aggravated battery, battery and neglect of a dependent.
According to the Montgomery County Clerk, Filley is now being charged with aggravated battery and neglect of a dependent resulting in death, and battery resulting in death to a person less than 14 years of age.
His bond was set at $100,000.
