INDIANAPOLIS — One person was killed in a shooting early Thursday on the northeast side of Indianapolis.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 2400 block of North Dearborn Street, just south of East 25th Street, a couple minutes after midnight after a caller reported a man had been shot.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in serious condition, but he later died, IMPD said.
Police have not released information about a possible suspect or what led to the shooting.
