INDIANAPOLIS — A person is in critical condition after being shot on the far east side of Indianapolis Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 200 block of S. German Church Road around 2 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The victim was in critical condition, police said.
