INDIANAPOLIS — One person was critically injured in a shooting on Indy's east side Saturday night.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 3700 block of North Mitthoefer Road around 6:45 p.m.
When police arrived at the scene, they located an adult male victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Police have not released any additional information at this time.
