INDIANAPOLIS — One person has died in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis.
An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department East District officer was flagged down in the 5400 block of East 21st Street in regards to a potential disturbance just before 7 p.m.
IMPD says the officer discovered an adult male inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot injury in the parking lot of Victory Liquors. That man was identified as 39-year-old Corey Reed.
Reed died at the scene.
On Monday, IMPD said a person was arrested in connection with the shooting.
