INDIANAPOLIS — One person was shot and killed on the near west side of Indianapolis early Monday morning.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 200 block of Warman Avenue around 3:40 a.m.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as 37-year-old Rodney Nixon Jr., unresponsive inside an apartment building. IEMS arrived and, unfortunately, pronounced Nixon deceased at the scene.
At this time, police said there is no further information to release.
