INDIANAPOLIS — A 14-year-old boy is in critical condition after police say he was accidentally shot by his brother.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the 2700 block of Chamberlin Drive South around 11 a.m. for a report of a person shot.
Arriving officers found a 14-year-old suffering from a single gunshot wound. He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Police say two brothers inside the home were "messing around" with a gun when it went off and shot one of them.
Police say the incident remains under investigation. No other details are being released at this time.
