LAFAYETTE — Police departments in Tippecanoe County are investigating two armed robberies that occurred early Saturday morning.
According to information from the Lafayette Police Department, at 2:37 a.m., a white male wearing a gray hoodie, black mask, jeans and black-and-white tennis shoes robbed a Village Pantry at 3630 Greenbush St. Police said the man showed a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of cash. No injures were reported
A second armed robbery at 108 S. River Road in West Lafayette was reported at 3:13 a.m., the West Lafayette Police Department said. The suspect was described as a skinny white male with facial hair who wore a dark blue or gray hoodie and glasses. Police said he showed a black handgun.
No arrests have been made in either case.
