INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a woman was injured in a northwest side shooting on Thursday morning.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. — about 30 minutes after another shooting on the east side — on Idlewood Parkway, near Eagle Creek Parkway and 38th Street.
A 28-year-old woman was shot in the incident. She was driven about half a mile north on Eagle Creek Parkway, where police were then called to the scene, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers on the scene.
The shooting victim's condition is not known at this time.
