INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after a person was killed during an altercation on Indianapolis' east side early Thursday morning.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the scene at a home in the 600 block of Temple Avenue just before 6 a.m. for a report of a person down.

Arriving officers found a male victim suffering from trauma at the scene. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Marion County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Quentin Miller, 38.

IMPD Homicide Detectives later arrested Eddie Binghma, 40, for his involvement in the incident. The Marion County Prosecutor will determine which charges Bingham will face for the death.
