ATF offers $2K reward in burglary of Indianapolis gun shop

INDIANAPOLIS — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation are offering a reward up to $2,000 for information about a burglary of an Indianapolis gun shop.

According to a report from the ATF, three suspects broke into Shoot Point Blank, 120 S. Country Club Road, around 10:40 p.m. on Jan. 4. The suspects stole three handguns before leaving the scene.

The burglary is being investigated by the ATF's Columbus Field Division jointly with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.

The reward is for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals responsible for the burglary.

The NSSF, the trade association for the firearms industry, has a national cooperative initiative with the ATF to match ATF rewards in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed retailers.
