Authorities asking for help in finding bank robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department and the FBI are asking for the public's help in finding a bank robbery suspect.

The robbery took place January 2 at the Fifth Third branch on College Avenue at East 86th Street on the Indianapolis north side.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, thin build, about 25 years of age. He was wearing a dark colored coat, sunglasses and a dark Indianapolis Indians baseball cap at the time of the robbery.

Authorities are not saying how much money he got away with.
