BEECH GROVE — Two death investigations are underway in Beech Grove after a man and woman were found dead in close proximity Saturday morning.
According to information from the Beech Grove Police Department, at 9:30 a.m., a passerby reported finding a deceased man in a ditch off South Emerson Avenue behind a Day's Inn and a Marathon gas station near Interstate 465.
Police said the man had no signs of obvious trauma.
Two hours later at 11:30 a.m., a woman was found dead at the Day's Inn nearby in the 5100 block of Elmwood Avenue. The woman's cause of death is under investigation.
It is not known if the two deaths are related, police said.
