A death investigation is underway after a body was found in the woods on the northeast side.
IMPD says a passerby made the discovery Sunday evening in the 8200 block of East 38th Street.
Right now, Metro Police say this is a death investigation and officers are looking for witnesses.
Investigators haven't released any information about the body or a possible identity.
