CARMEL, Ind. -- A Carmel man was arrested last week on nine felony counts over allegations of inappropriate conduct with several children at a pool party.

Anthony S. Johnson, 50, was arrested at his home on Tuesday on seven counts of child molesting and two counts of criminal confinement stemming from alleged actions at a pool party on Aug. 12.

According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Hamilton County Superior Court, Johnson is accused of fondling three children, ages 8, 9 and 10.

Johnson reportedly told police he was “horseplaying” with kids  in the pool, but denied anything inappropriate.

Following his arrest, Johnson was booked into the Hamilton County Jail on a $195,000 bond.
