LAWRENCE— A Lawrence police officer was hospitalized on Saturday after a driver crashed into a police car.
According to the Lawrence Police Department, officers were on scene working a personal injury accident when another vehicle drove through the scene, striking one of our police vehicles with an officer inside.
The officer was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.
Police said the driver of the vehicle was taken into custody to begin a DUI investigation.
