MUNCIE — The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted several raids in Muncie on Tuesday.
Call 6 has been told that the raids are tied to two unrelated cases.
One search is happening at a business near Willard and Hackley Streets.
The Muncie Star Press is reporting that the raid is connected to a long-running investigation of Muncie Mayor Dennis Tyler and the city's sanitary district.
In January, Tyler's former building commissioner, Craig Nichols, was sentenced to two years in federal prison for wire fraud and money laundering.
