February assault on 68-year-old woman now a murder case

INDIANAPOLIS — A 68-year-old woman who was assaulted in February on Indianapolis' east side has died as a result of her injuries.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department says the death of Ramona Coleman is now a murder case.

According to IMPD, Coleman was assaulted at in the 2000 block of North Shadeland Avenue on Feb. 24. Coleman told police she had been pushed down. She was rushed to a local hospital then spent time in a rehab facility. She died earlier this month.
