Federal agents, multiple police agencies make drug arrest on Indianapolis' east side

INDIANAPOLIS — Multiple police agencies, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, arrested a 26-year-old man on Indianapolis' east side Tuesday morning.

The arrest occurred in the 3300 block of Tacoma Avenue, near Keystone and 34th Street.

Court records show the man had an active warrant out of Hamilton County on drug charges.

IMPD and Indiana State Police assisted in the operation, but Homeland Security is the lead agency on the case.
