INDIANAPOLIS — Fire Investigators in Wayne Township are asking for the public's help to find the person responsible for intentionally setting a fire at a local apartment complex, endangering the lives of everyone inside.

Firefighters responded to the Darby Court apartments on Mosport Court just after midnight on September 7.

Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control quickly, although one person did suffer injuries from the fire.

"Our fire investigative team has determined that the fire was intentionally set and was a criminal act, endangering the lives of countless civilians that occupy the apartment building," said Wayne Township Division Chief Troy Wymer. "If you have any information to help us find the subject or subjects responsible for this act you can call 317-262-TIPS or the Indiana Arson Investigation Hotline at 1-800-382-4628."
