BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — Police in Florida have arrested the two men involved in an attempted robbery of a group of spring breakers from Indiana that was caught on surveillance video last week.

The Broward County, Fla. Sheriff's Office said the driver of the car, Kevin Campbell, was arrested just hours after the March 24 robbery attempt at a Fort Lauderdale, Fla. gas station. The alleged gunman, Travis Jones, was arrested on March 26 after a traffic stop for driving with a suspended license.

It happened approximately 3:35 a.m. March 24 at a Mobil Gas Station, 901 W. Oakland Park Blvd. The four male victims were at a pump when Jones allegedly approached the four male victims with a silver handgun and stated, "Give me everything you got."

The victims tackled the would-be robber and grabbed the gun. Deputies said Campbell then ran up to join the struggle.

No one was hurt during the incident, which was recorded on the gas station's surveillance cameras.

Campbell is facing charges of robbery with a firearm, false identification given to law enforcement and resisting an officer, according to court records. Jones is facing a felony robbery charge.
