UPDATE: Wayne Township Schools Superintendent Dr. Jeff Butts said Wednesday the flower pots have been recovered and returned to McClelland Elementary School.
WAYNE TOWNSHIP — Wayne Township schools are asking for the public's help to identify the person who stole flower pots from the front of a local elementary school over the weekend.
The flower pots were stolen from either side of the main entrance at McClelland Elementary School.
Wayne Township Schools Superintendent Dr. Jeff Butts posted surveillance images to Twitter on Tuesday showing a red truck he says was used to steal the flower pots.
Anyone with information about the theft or who might own the red truck pictured below should contact Lieutenant Doug Scheffel at 317-988-7701.
