Four accused of selling fentanyl-laced heroin in Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS -- Federal prosecutors filed charges on Tuesday against four men accused of dealing methamphetamine and fentanyl-laced heroin in the Indianapolis area.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office says the men brought “large quantities of heroin” and meth into Marion County throughout the summer.

The suspects were identified as:

  • Gary Sellers, 43
  • Richard Roberson, 39
  • Leroy Thomas, 45
  • Ali Abdul Salam, 40

During the men’s arrest, officers reportedly also confiscated an estimated $7,000-worth of drugs, including 2 oz. of fentanyl-laced heroin.

Sellers, Roberson and Thomas face up to life in prison if convicted. Abdul Salam faces up to 20 years in prison.
