INDIANAPOLIS — Homicide detectives have been called to investigate after a dead body was discovered in a vehicle on Indy's southwest side on Monday.
According to a spokesman for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, southwest district officers were called just after 9 a.m. Monday to the 5500 block of West Washington Street on report of a deceased person in a car.
The death appears to be a suicide, according to an IMPD spokesman.
