INDIANAPOLIS — Police are investigating after one person was shot and killed on Indy's east side Friday night.
According to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the 4800 block of East Michigan Street on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a victim with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
