IMPD arrests 19-year-old man accused of committing Indy's 200th homicide of 2020

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police made an arrest last week in a case involving the 200th homicide of 2020

A 19-year-old man was arrested Nov. 18, according to a news release from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. He has not yet been charged.

On Oct. 27, officers received a report of a vehicle crash in the 3600 block of Lawnview Lane near the El Dorado Apartments on the city's west side.

When they arrived, police found Michael Williams, 19, dead at the scene with gunshot wounds.
