INDIANAPOLIS — Two people accused of killing a 40-year-old woman on Christmas morning have been arrested, police said Monday.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department homicide detectives arrested a 35-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman Sunday for their alleged roles in killing 40-year-old Tiffany Allen.

The Marion County Prosecutor's Office has not announced formal charges against the suspects.

IMPD officers were called around 4 a.m. Dec. 25 to the 2700 block of South Hunter Road, near Southeastern Avenue and the Interstate 465 and 74 interchange, on the report of a person shot.

Medics pronounced Allen deceased after officers found her suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
