INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman was arrested on suspicion of OWI Thursday morning after she repeatedly flashed her brights at an IMPD officer.
According to an incident report filed in the case, and IMPD officer was in his marked police vehicle in a residential neighborhood near German Church Road and Prospect Street when 51-year-old Cynthia Forseth allegedly flashed her car’s bright lights at him.
The officer flashed his lights to indicate he saw, at which point Forseth reportedly flashed her brights three more times.
The officer then activated his emergency lights, however Forseth allegedly refused to stop and made several turns on different streets before the officer drove in front of her, forcing her to stop.
According to the incident report, Forseth blew a BAC of 0.179 on a portable breathalyzer test.
Forseth was taken into custody on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and police obtained a search warrant for a blood draw.
