INDIANAPOLIS — A woman was killed early Wednesday in a hit-and-run crash on the city's northeast side.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 9200 block of East 30th Street around 2:40 a.m.
Police said the woman and another person were walking westbound on East 30th Street and arguing with one on the sidewalk and the victim in the roadway.
A driver in a white Hyundai sedan struck the woman and fled eastbound on East 30th Street without stopping to help.
The victim's name and age were not yet available.
