INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating after one person was shot Wednesday morning on the east side of Indianapolis.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a shooting around 5:30 a.m. in the 300 block of North Forest Avenue near East New York Street.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
