INDIANAPOLIS — Police responded to a shooting early Saturday morning that critically injured a person on the city's northeast side.
According to information from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, east district officers responded to a call of a person shot at just after 3 a.m. in the 3800 block of North Post Road.
Officers found a person suffering from a gunshot wound who was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
IMPD has not released details about what led to the shooting.
