INDIANAPOLIS — One person was killed in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis on Friday evening.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers responded to the 800 block of Treyburn Green Drive on reports of a person shot just before 6 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male victim inside a residence suffering from a gunshot injury. The victim, identified as Kentrell Lasaveon Ali Johnson, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
