INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting on the northeast side.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said a woman was found shot in a car in the 3300 block of N. Sherman Drive. She told officers the shooting happened in the 2900 block of N. Dearborn Street. The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Officers were then dispatched to the 2900 block of N. Dearborn Street where a man was found dead in the street from a gunshot wound.
The Marion County Coroner identified the victim as Albert Germany, 39.
Both shootings remain under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
