INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on the west side of Indianapolis Monday afternoon, police said.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to a report of a person shot in the 6100 block of Beachview Drive around 12:30 p.m.
When officers arrived, they located a victim with gunshot injuries.
The victim was pronounced deceased on scene, police said.
No further information has been released at this time.
