INDIANAPOLIS -- Police arrested a 14-year-old boy on the west side Tuesday after he alleged attacked a 9-year-old, the child’s father and two IMPD officers.
The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of Martha Street.
According to a report documenting the incident, the 14-year-old boy assaulted a 9-year-old and stole his bike.
When the child’s father tried to intervene, the teen then allegedly attacked him too.
Police said they were also attacked by the teen when they attempted to place him under arrest.
According to the report, the 14-year-old then threated to cut the 9-year-old when he gets out of juvenile detention.
The 9-year-old and his father reportedly suffered only minor injuries in the attack.
The 14-year-old was taken to the Marion County Juvenile Intake Center on preliminary charges of battery, intimidation and robbery.
