INDIANAPOLIS — The Marion County Coroner's Office has ruled the death of an Indianapolis six-month-old a homicide, according to Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department Public Information Officer Michael Hewitt.
Around 7:30 p.m. on Friday, IMPD officers were dispatched to 1551 Renton Street on a call that a child had stopped breathing. When officers arrived, they found six-month-old De'reya Hill unresponsive.
The baby girl later died at an area hospital.
On Saturday, the Marion County Coroner's Officer found De'reya to have suffered from multiple blunt force injuries due to non-accidental trauma and ruled this case a homicide.
No one has been arrested in the case at this time.
