INDIANAPOLIS — Detectives arrested 29-year-old Christopher Davis on Thursday on neglect charges for the shooting of a 2-year-old in Indianapolis.

Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers arrived at 3030 North Colorado just before 10 p.m. on September 6 and located a 2-year-old shot and wounded. The 2-year-old was allegedly shot in the leg by another child.

Throughout the investigation, IMPD detectives learned that several children in the residence were playing with a loaded firearm — resulting in Neglect of a Dependent charge for Davis.

Anyone with information about this incident should call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317-262-8477.
